More than 21 years ago, we moved to Isle of Wight County from the more congested York County.

A few months ago we downsized to a new home in Holland Meadows, within the town limits of Windsor.

We have always loved Isle of Wight, with its small-town, country congeniality yet nearness to the “big cities”, but now that we’re within a five minute drive of our local stores, we love it even more.

Windsor is the perfect town – the local merchants know us by name, and, believe me, if you can’t find it in Windsor, or they can’t order it, you don’t need it!! Yet, we’re within a short drive to our children’s homes, both in Williamsburg and Norfolk, and we know many locals who commute to Newport News and Hampton.

Windsor is the best of all worlds.
